NEWS FROM FQMS

FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Happy Friday Falcon Family!  Today we celebrate our students for their strong start to Quarter 2!

A special shout out to Ms. Visco and Mr. Stein who welcomed our Academic Life Skill’s students back for in person instruction this week!  Great job to all of the team and students!

As a reminder - Conference scheduling opens today. Parent/teacher conferences will be held virtually from November 23rd through November 25th.

CONFERENCE DATES/TIMES:
November 23 - 12:45 p.m.-6:45 p.m. (last conference will start at 6:30 p.m.)
November 24 - 12:45 p.m.-6:45 p.m. (last conference will start at 6:30 p.m.)
November 25 - 8:00 a.m.-11:15 a.m. & 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. (last conference will start at 11:15 a.m. & 3:00 p.m.)

Since not all teachers work during the same conferencing schedule, please check your child's individual teacher’s schedule for available conference dates and times.

To sign up for a parent/teacher conference, open your Connect account and click on the "Conference" left side tab.

Due to the limited number of conference slots available, we are asking that parents prioritize no more than two (2) teacher conferences during the conference window. If additional appointment slots are available after the conference window has closed, please feel free to contact Mrs. Smith (ljsmith@hcpss.org) to schedule other appointments on an as needed basis.

Scheduling for parent/teacher conferences will begin today, Friday, November 13th at 8:00 a.m. and end on Thursday, November 19th at 3:00 p.m.  Prior to November 19th, if you need to cancel, please be sure to go through the same online system.  After November 19th, please contact Mrs. Smith (ljsmith@hcpss.org) during regular school hours.  We would like to stay on a strict schedule in reference to conference times, so we ask that parents please be prompt in attending their conferences.

As always, if you're unable to obtain a conference slot during the conference window, you can e-mail your child's teacher to arrange for an alternative conference time.
