BUS REGISTRATION - Time is running out to register!
We don’t want any students who qualify for transportation to be without a bus if they rely on a bus to get to and from school. Please contact the school if you need help registering your child. Please contact the HCPSS Office of Transportation,
transportation@hcpss.org, or call 410-313-6732 if you have questions related to your eligibility to receive bus service. You may also find several frequently asked questions
online.
Families who reside in non-transportation areas are not eligible for bus transportation and do not need to take any action. Find the new non-transportation areas for your school
online. Students who receive transportation as part of their Individualized Education Program (IEP) or 504 Plan do not need to register.
Virtual Info Sessions on Substance Abuse, June 8
In conjunction with YouMe Healthcare, HCPSS will hold
two virtual parent/guardian information sessions on Thursday, June 8: A session from 5:30-6:30 p.m. geared toward elementary and middle school parents/guardians, and a session from 7:30-8:30 p.m. for high school parents/guardians. Parents/guardians may log on to the program via Google Meet. YouMe Healthcare clinicians Gelisa Lewis, LMSW, and Nneka Jefferson, LCSW-C/LICSW, will present on the topics of prosocial behaviors, positive relationships, mental wellness, and youth substance use. The sessions also will include positive coping skills, recognizing signs of stress and peer pressure, and interventions to address. Parents will learn ways to improve communication and interactions with their children. Resources will be provided on substance use, dealing with adversity, and risky behaviors. Additional resources for mental health services, screening tools, and educational materials will be provided.

Donation Shed - An amazing 11.24 tons was collected in 2022. All proceeds go to help our school. Just a reminder that the donation shed is for textiles only. Please do not drop off toys. The sign on the outside of the shed clearly states what is accepted and what is not accepted. Please consider donating winter coats and other winter gear to the Kindness Pantry or save your coats for our annual Fall Coat Drive in September.

PTSA has a lot of great things lined up for the school year, but we desperately need volunteers and membership to be successful!
