Dear Folly Quarter Families,
We hope you have enjoyed the last eight weeks of summer resting, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. We are excited to welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year. Our focus this school year is to engage and inspire our learners while providing a strong sense of belonging for all students, staff, and families at Folly Quarter.
We are ready to welcome your students back to school on Monday, August 29. This is an exciting time for them, and we want to reassure you that we have planned and are prepared to make this school year a success for every student. We know that it takes a village of people to educate and instill the skills that promote success. We are partnering with you on this journey.
It is important to remember that middle school is a transition time for our students. They are learning independence, self advocacy, problem solving skills, and testing themselves in new ways. Our staff is prepared to stand alongside you as we navigate the middle school years.
We recognize you are preparing for the start of the school year and want to provide you with as much information as possible. We have included important upcoming dates, events, and school information below.

Important Dates
Folly Quarter Information
New Student Orientation: New Student Orientation will be held on Thursday, August 25, at 12:45pm. All 6th Grade students and NEW to Folly Quarter 7th and 8th graders are invited to attend the New Student Orientation. Please visit our website for more information.
Open House: All Folly Quarter Students & Parents are welcome to join us for a ‘self guided’ tour of Folly Quarter Middle School on Thursday, August 25. The building will be open from 4:30-6:30pm. This is an opportunity for students to become familiar with their schedule, explore the layout of the building, locate their classrooms, and practice opening and setting up their locker. All students are welcome to bring school supplies to store in their locker during the Open House.
