PTSA NEWSLETTER 10/14/2025
Dear Folly Quarter Community:
Kudos to our Orchestra students who performed in the String Fling last evening at Glenelg High School. They performed so well and I cannot wait to see their upcoming winter concert. It was also wonderful to see former Folly Falcons who are now High School students performing. Thank you, Ms. Karanovich for your direction and support of our students
Families- please read important information about the upcoming Picture Day and next week’s PINKtober and Folly Future Fest.
I wish you and your family a relaxing weekend,
Mike Babe

PINKTOBER IS NEXT WEEK!
We have an exciting day for 10/31 (three hour early dismissal) which will be full of team-building, Career Fair (Folly’s First Future Fest), and a little less than a mile Fun Run. We are coming together as a community to recognize and honor those who have fought, who are fighting hard against Cancer, and remember those who we have lost. The Fun Run is great for our mental and physical health which leads to all around wellness. We are wearing Pink because October is recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but we know many forms of Cancer impact our community everyday. We want to show our solidarity for our commUNITY. Remind your students to wear PINK, dress comfortably, closed toed sneakers, bring a water bottle…and have FUN! Also, leave the halloween candy, costumes, and face paint at home as this day is for our PinkTOBER and Falcon Fun Run.

- FQMS Pinktober and Future Fest- WE STILL NEED MORE!
This October, PBIS at FQMS is embracing all things fall! Students will have the opportunity to purchase “Fall Falcon Grams” with their Falcon Bucks in order to spread autumn cheer. Each gram will include a positive note (to themselves or a peer) along with a Rice Krispie treat. We will wrap up the month with our very first 2025 Falcon Day, a celebration filled with student choice activities, a Pinktober Fun Run, and Folly’s first Future Fest. These events are designed to recognize and celebrate our students’ hard work and positive behavior.
